Our Achievements

 

We KV ONGC believe in giving a gentle push to our students and instill in them the important fact that one is successful the moment one starts moving towards a worthwhile goal. All activities in the Vidyalaya are a reflection of our efforts. Following are few Achievements of our Students.

 

  Siddhartha Rohilla , XII A1, topped in Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Dehradun with 93.2% marks (Session 2010-11).

 

 

 

 

 

Rishabh Singh, XII A, topped all KVs in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan with 97.6% marks.
  • Amongst the first three positions, of all CBSE Schools at All India Level.
  • Gained cent percent marks in Mathematics.
  • Topped the entrance exam of IIT Kharagpur. Enrolled in B.Tech(Comp.Sc.)
  • Honoured with a reserved seat, in the President's box, at the Republic Day Celebrations, 2005.
  • Awarded by the KVS with a cash award of Rs. 1500/-

 

 

 

 

  •  Noopur Chaudhary, XI B, represented the Vidyalaya at the Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition held at National Level.
  • She was also the topper of Class X at Vidyalaya level.

  • Rohit Singh, passed class XII during 2007has been awarded special scholarship for higher education  of Rs. 1,00,000/-  per year for 5 years for attracting talented youth by The Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology vide D.O No DST/ Secy/ 716/2007, Dated 14th August’2007.

Rohit Singh has again made us proud as he scored first position in the 8th KVS Junior Maths Olympiad. He is the only student form Uttranchal who has been selected for Indian National Maths Olympiad camp cum selection at Mumbai. The first six student of the 30 selected from India will participate for International Maths Olympiad.

Laudable Efforts of Our Students

  • Tathagat Chatterjee & Malay Goyal of Class XI represented Dehradun Region at a training camp in New Delhi, after qualifying the KVS Junior Mathematics Olympiad.
  • Samarth & Avinash of X, Sandya, Aditi & Garima of VIII and Kavita of IX cleared the Rajya Puraskar testing camp, in the scouts and Guides Movements and were nominated for Pesident award.
  • Akash Dwivedi of X gained 40th position at All India Level in the National
         Science Olympiad.
  • Megha Sharma of XI B, represented the Vidyalaya in the Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition, at National Level.
  • Shobhita Bahuguna of XI gained III position at Regional Level in English elocution competition in the Social Science Exhibition.
  • Isha Saxena of V-B & Saumyadeep Bandopadhyay of VIII-B qualified at the State Level contest and participated in '29th Hero Honda Suturing National Singing Talent Hunt' Through SANGAM KALA GROUP(Regd.) Held at IIPA Auditorium, New Delhi on 9th February -2006.
  • Our Students conducted National Anthem before Shree APJ Abdul Kalam, the honorable President of India at Tel Bhawan, Dehradun on the occasion of Golden Jubilee of ONGC & Openning ceremony of ONGC Museum.

    2. Selected in top 26 students for international maths Olympiad training camp (IMOTC)-2006 {Awarded scholarship of Rs.20,000/- by KVS} on the basis of performance in Indian National Maths Olympiad(INMO)-2006.
    3. Selected for IMOTC-2007 on the basis of postal coaching-2007 and performance in IMOTC-2006 held from 10th to 31st of May 2007 in HBCSE, Mumbai.

 

  1. PHYSICS AND CHEMISTRY OLYMPIAD
    1. Selected for orientation cum selection camp-2007 (Physics and Chemistry both) among top 35 students from all over India on the basis of Indian National Physics and Chemistry Olympiads-2007(INPhO and INChO-2007).
    2. Outstanding performance in OCSC Physics – 2007. Slected in top 5 students for representing India in International Physics Olympiad-2007 to be held in Iran(Ishafan) from 13 to 22 of July 2007.
